SMYRNA - Vena J. Richards, was born April 30, 1952, in Trinidad to Catherine and Sonny Richards. She lived in Smyrna and was 58. Vena peacefully passed on Sept. 14, 2010, at home with her loving family, after a long battle with her illness. She was a Professional cook. She is survived by her children, Sandy M. Irwin, Janelle, Giselle, Gelita, Natasha. Services will be 2 p.m., Saturday Sept. 18, 2010, at Touch of Master's Hand, located at 421 W. 7 St., Newcastle, DE 19720, with a viewing two hours prior.
