DOVER — A vehicle and two homes were damaged by gunfire Wednesday, Dover Police said.
The investigation began at 7:42 p.m., spokesperson Master Cpl. Ryan Schmid said, when police received a call for shots fired in the 400 block of Barrister Place. Officers located two homes and a vehicle that had been damaged by gunfire, police said.
Both homes were occupied at the time of the shooting and no injuries were reported.
The ensuing investigation revealed that two Black males wearing black clothing and masks were responsible for the shooting, but fled prior to police arrival, according to Cpl. Schmid.
Police ask anyone with information to call 302-736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous. Tips may also be submitted to law enforcement through Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333 or online at delaware.crimestoppersweb.com; a cash reward is possible for information leading to an arrest.
