Tyrone Riley Walker

ELLENDALE - Tyrone Riley Walker passed away, Friday, Jan. 8, 2014 at the Milford Hospice Center. Mr. Walker was born October 19, 1956 in Chester, PA. Upon graduating from Chester High School, he continued his education at a vocational school in Chester, studying electronics. Tyrone later became employed with the Housing and Urban Development agency here he was a supervisor in Camden, NJ. He also attended Delaware Technical and Community College, Owens Campus in Georgetown, DE. Tyrone was preceded in death by his parents, Nathaniel Brown Walker, Sr. and Barbara Ann Dunning; his wife, Anita Walker; a sister, Ethel Dunning Carter; and a brother, Larry Tyrone Bradley. He is survived by three sons, Christopher of Chester, Pa., Roger and Raheem both of West Virginia; two sisters, Mattie Jean Walker Green of Wilmington, and Betty Jo Walker Sampson of Ellendale; three brothers, Nathaniel Brown Walker, Jr. of Upper Darby, Pa., Maurice Walker of Chester, Pa. and John Walker of Dover. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Philadelphia Pentecostal Holiness Church in Ellendale. Funeral arrangements by McPherson Funeral Services.
