Two-story Salisbury home burns

SALISBURY -- The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s office is investigating a structure fire in Salisbury.

The fire occurred on March 23 at 12:41 a.m. and involved a two-story, wood frame, single family dwelling on North Division Street, according to the Fire Marshal report.

No one was injured or killed in the blaze.

Damages are estimated at $20,000 to the structure and $5,000 to the contents.

Salisbury Fire Department  responded to the alarm. Fifteen firefighters had the fire under control in 15 minutes, according to the report.

The fire reportedly started in the master bedroom. The fire was discovered and reported by the occupant.
