DOVER — Two Dover males were arrested on firearm-related charges as part of a multi-agency warrant roundup Tuesday, Dover Police said.
Jakeel Young, 28, and Hakeem Gibson, 28, were taken into custody at a residence in the 400 block of Court Street for outstanding warrants, police said.
While at the residence, officers located a loaded stolen Sentry Arms 9mm Draco pistol, a loaded Smith and Wesson 9mm handgun, 61 doses of oxycodone, 7 doses of doxycycline, 3 doses of buprenorphine, and 208.9 grams of promethazine. police said.
Mr. Young was charged with possession offenses including large capacity magazine and firearm/ammunition by person prohibited (three counts) and receiving a stolen firearm. He was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on $16,000 cash bail.
Mr. Gibson was charged with possession offenses including large capacity magazine, with intent to deliver a controlled substance (five counts), controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. He was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on $14,000 secured bail.
