MILTON - Truitt W. Jefferson passed away in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes, on Tuesday, August 23, 2016. Truitt, known as Jeff, is survived by his wife, Virginia; sister, Sara Belle and husband Sheldon Larmore; daughters, Lisa and Luis Arias, Laura and Mark Nover; grandchildren, Alexi and Aidan Arias, Madeline and Sam Nover. He was preceded by his sister, Eleanor Hoekstra. Jeff was a founder of Jefferson, Urian, Doane & Sterner, PA, a CPA firm in Georgetown, Dover, and Ocean View. Jeff served his country in the Air Force, was active in the Milton Lions Club and CPA organizations. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2016, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, with a time of visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Contributions in Jeff's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 399 Market St., Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
