Tricia Jill Quillen, 34

CRUMPTON, Md. - Tricia Jill Quillen, of Crumpton, died on Feb. 18, 2009, at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. She was 34. Born on Nov. 3, 1974, she was the daughter of the late David Owen Mench and Deborah (Bryden) Cain of Rock Hall. Tricia was a 1992 graduate of Kent County High. She spent one year of studies at Chesapeake College, then spent three years at McQueen-Gibbs in Easton, and continued at University of Delaware earning her BSN degree. After college Tricia worked as a Registered Nurse at Chester River Hospital Center. She was a member of the American Legion and Raum Chapel Church in Rock Hall. When Tricia was not busy working, raising her two children and keeping her home, she enjoyed gardening, photography, cooking, and crafts. She was predeceased by her father, and a brother, David Graham Mench. She is survived by her loving husband of nine years, "Mitch" Quillen of Crumpton; her beloved children, Delaney Jane and Mitchell Owen Quillen, also of Crumpton; a sister, Billie Jo Cain of Rock Hall; a brother, Thomas Gordon Legg of Rock Hall; her mother, Deborah Bryden Cain of Rock Hall; stepfather, Thomas Martin Legg Sr. of Rock Hall; and maternal grandfather, Robert Gordon Bryden of Rock Hall; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday Feb. 24 at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, where friends and family may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23. Interment will be at Crumpton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions, in her memory can be made to Benefit for Delaney and Mitchell Quillen c/o People's Bank, P.O. Box 129, Millington, MD 21651 (or any branch.)
