WYOMING, DE - Tommy Earl Davis passed away Saturday, April 15th, 2023.
He was born May 22nd, 1941, in New Boston, Ohio, to the late Elbert Lester Davis and Thelma Irene Hannah.
Mr. Davis served in the United States Air Force as an Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic, retiring in 1991 after 30 years as CMSGT. Post retirement he worked at Lowes to keep busy.
In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his uncle, Shelby Davis; his grandmother, Clare Hannah; his grandfather, Earl Hannah; and his sister, Judy Davis.
Mr. Davis is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Lucinda Jane Marker of Wyoming, Delaware; his children, JoAnne Lorntzen (Rich) of Dover, Delaware, Cindy Lee of Terrell, Texas, and Rick Davis (Madeline) of Florida; his seven grandchildren, Hannah Lorntzen, RJ Lorntzen, Thomas Davis, Richard David, Cody Akins, Felicia Akins, and Ashley Hernandez; and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11AM, Friday, April 21st, 2023, at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 1145 E. Lebanon Road, Dover, Delaware. Friends may visit one hour prior. The interment will be held at Sharon Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Delaware Hospice.
