BRIDGEVILLE - Tina King Bevans passed away Friday June 7, 2013. Tina was preceded in death by her husband James Bevans and her daughter Amber Bevans. Tina spent many years traveling and working with several of the top trainers of her first love Harness Horses. After settling down with her family she worked for the Original Southern and Jimmy's Grille, eventually returning to her beloved horses where she worked with many local trainers including her brother, Jim King, Jr. Tina is survived by a daughter Lacey Bevans of Bridgeville; mother Carole H. King; brothers James King Jr. (JoAnn) and D. Wayne King (Pam) all of Harrington;, a sister Jackie Oates of Bridgeville; four loving grandchildren Nathaniel Bender, Kenneth Iverson Jr, Shaylee Iverson, and Arianna Bevans-Matthews all of Bridgeville; nieces, nephews and many special friends. A memorial celebration will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday June 22, 2013 at Tina's home 18678 Chaplains Chapel Road, Bridgeville. Please bring memories, pictures and lawn chairs. In lieu of flowers donations to assist with final expenses will be appreciated.
