Timothy Paul Bowen

Clayton - Timothy Paul Bowen passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014 due to injuries sustained in a truck accident. He was born May 26, 1977 in Chestertown, Md., the son of Rev. William Bowen and Millie Bowen of Smyrna, Del. Tim worked for many years for the US Post Office as a Postal Carrier, as well as working in retail and in the trucking industry. He was a member of Kenton United Methodist Church and enjoyed being involved with church activites, especially playing the piano. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he is survived by three sisters, Lynn, Becky and Kay; five brothers, Robbie, David, Matt, Steven and Josh; several extended family members; and his partner, Justin. A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 12 noon in the Wyoming United Methodist Church, located at 216 Wyoming Mill Road, in Dover, DE. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Burial will be private. Condolence letters may be sent by visiting www.fariesfuneralhome.com.
