Thornton: MOAA supports cabinet secretary focusing on veterans

The Dover chapter of the Military Officers Association of America strongly supports creating a veterans affairs cabinet position.
A cabinet secretary who is also a veteran would provide essential oversight and resources to address chronic issues at the Delaware Veterans Home, including low morale and high staff turnover.
Dedicated and experienced veteran leadership will streamline policy, allocate resources, ensure accountability and encourage collaboration to improve the well-being of our veterans.
