CLAYTON - Thomas Joseph Casey Jr. of Clayton passed away on Monday, Dec. 22, 2014 at Kent General Hospital in Dover surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Casey was born in Wilmington, the son of the late Thomas J. and Margaret A. (Herlihy) Casey Sr. Mr. Casey served his country proudly in the U.S. Army. Mr. Casey was a meat cutter at ShopRite and retired as the manager of the meat department of the Pathmark Store. Mr. Casey is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Joyce L. Moulton Casey; son, Thomas Joseph Casey III of Townsend; grandson, Dylan Casey of Townsend; grandaughter, Courtney Crain,of Phila. Pa.; sister-in-law, Judy Springer of Chadds Ford, Pa.; brother-in-law, Jerry Moulton and wife Debbie of Newark, Del.; several nieces and nephews; best friend and buddy, Pete Peterman and his wife Lois of Wyoming, Del. Funeral services will be private. The family would like to thank Dr. Milan and all the nurses at Kent General Hospital for the kindness and care shown to Mr. Casey while he was there.
