William Keitel, 75
DOVER - Thomas Christian William Keitel passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021. He was born June 19, 1946 in New York City, N.Y. to the late Ernst Keitel and Kathleen Anne (Carr) Keitel.
After high school Mr. Keitel joined the United States Air Force where he trained to be a pilot. He served his country during Vietnam and Desert Storm. Whilst serving he flew around the world and visited many foreign lands.
Mr. Keitel served on the board for Capital School District from 2007-2012. He enjoyed a good political debate, and a good brain teaser, playing regular games of Sudoku. Mr. Keitel was a devoted father, he loved spending time with his children and giving them financial tips, in his free time he would research the newest and greatest stocks, cryptocurrencies and investments to pass on.
In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Halsey Keitel in 2015.
Mr. Keitel is survived by, his wife of 33 years, Patricia H. (Warner) Keitel; daughter, Courtney Kathleen Keitel; brothers, William E. Keitel and John F. Keitel; sisters, Paula Haarvei, Alice Byrne, Mary Louise Keitel and Kathleen Marchetti.
Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Rd. (Rt. 10) Dover. A visitation will take place one hour prior for friends and family to gather.
