Thomas Bittle Brothers Sr., 77

FELTON - Thomas Bittle Brothers Sr., passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008, in Bayhealth Medical Center, Dover. He was 77. Thomas was born Dec. 14, 1930 in Mobeetie, Texas, to the late John W. and Georgia Bittle Brothers. Mr. Brothers, raised a Southern Baptist, was a retired United States Air Force Sr. Master Sergeant and veteran of the Korean War. He was also a retired Sight Installation Manager for Rockwell International. He was a member of the Free Masons and the Caroline Memorial VFW Post 7937. He was a dedicated sponsor of the Christian Children's Fund. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Page Brothers of Felton; four sons, Thomas B. Brothers Jr. of Georgetown, Texas, John Brothers, Jeff and wife Deborah Brothers both of Felton, and James and wife Jennifer Brothers of Frisco, Texas; three daughters, Debra Leake of Harrisonburg, Va., Pamela and husband Daniel Shupe of Saginaw, Mich., and Teresa and husband Terry Carpenter of Church Hill, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren, Jared, Megan N., Charles, Megan K., Daniel, Alicia, Eli, Page Marie, Tanner, and Tyler; and one great-grandson, Jakob. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, 106 W. Sunset Ave., Greensboro, Md., where friends may call one hour prior. Burial will be in Greensboro Cemetery, Greensboro, Md.
