DELMAR - Thomas Andrew Toomey II, 20, of Delmar, passed away Friday, Aug. 14, 2009. He was the son of James and Cheryl Toomey. He is also survived by brothers, James Jr. and Linny Toomey, and Howard; sisters, Dawn and Joey Nixon, and Rosa Toomey; one niece, three nephews; grandparents, Rosalie Toomey Trice, and Judy and Richard Cecil; one special cousin, Robert Wells; and many others. A viewing will be from 6 to 9 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 20, at Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Seaford. All are welcome. A dinner will be held in his honor at 1 p.m. at his grandmothers. Bring a covered and/or chairs. No suits allowed; come as you are.
