Theresa Skinner

DOVER - Theresa Skinner passed away, Monday, Jan. 23, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital, Wilmington. Mrs. Skinner was born Dec. 26, 1939 in Lafayette, N.J., to the late Walter Mikus and Ruth Treible Mikus. She worked for 20 years as a Design Engineering Supervisor for DuPont Louvier's Plant. Mrs. Skinner was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and Modern Maturity. She loved bird watching, animals, especially her dog "Max" and going on trips with her friend Ann. She enjoyed football, and was a longtime fan of The Dallas Cowboys. Mrs. Skinner is survived by her husband of 58 years, Patrick Skinner, of Dover; daughter, Deborah Hibbert and her husband, Michael, of Dover; sons, David Skinner and his wife, Kathie, of Bear and Gary Skinner, of Dover; brother, Jerry Mikus of Laceyville, Pa. Memorial services will be held 12 noon, Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to a charity of your choice. Letters of condolences may be sent and guest book signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
