DOVER - Theresa F. Disalvo, of Dover, died April 29, 2012. Born in Manhattan, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Frances Grassi. Mrs. DiSalvo and her family moved from Bronx, N.Y. to the Dover area in 1966, where she dedicated most of her time to being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Theresa was a people oriented person who also had a special fondness for animals. She had been a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and the Good Time Truckers Van Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas who died in 1995; her granddaughter, Danielle Brodeur; and seven of her siblings. Theresa leaves two sons, Nicholas and wife Ronda DiSalvo of Wyoming, and Joseph DiSalvo of Dover; her daughter, Antionette and husband, Ronald Berry of Dover; one sister, Virginia Petry of Baldwin, Fla; three grandchildren, Steven Berry, Brandon DiSalvo and Pamela Brodeur, along with five great-grandchildren. A Viewing will be held 6 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2012, with Services at 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St. Dover, DE. Family suggests donations in her memory to the Kent County SPCA, 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934. Condolences may be forwarded and Guest Book Signed via www.ambruso.com. DE-Theresa-Disalvo.JPG/
