Thelma W. Landis

WHITEHALL, Pa. - Thelma W. Landis, 84, formerly of Whitehall and Allentown, Pa., and Bridgeville, Del., passed away on April 6, 2011 at Cedarbrook Nursing Home. Born in Hilltown, Pa., she was the daughter of the late William H. and the late Martha (Kolb) Weaver. She was the wife of Ellis F. Landis and they would have celebrated 63 years of marriage on May 15th. She was a former member of the Tressler Mennonite Church. In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Rendell Landis, M. Renee Stephens and her husband Jeffrey, Rodney Landis and Roy Landis; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services will be held Friday, April 15 at 11 a.m. at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm Street, Emmaus, PA 18049. Calling hour from 10 -11 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be at Tressler Mennonite Cemetery in Greenwood, Del. Contributions may be sent to World Vision, P.O. Box 70200, Tacoma, WA 98481, www.worldvision.org
