Thelma Lorraine Stogner

Thelma Lorraine Stogner, 88 MILFORD - Thelma Lorraine Stogner, of Milford, formerly of Milton, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2008, at Lifecare in Lofland Park, Seaford. She was 88. Thelma was born in Milton, daughter of the late Clarence A. and Lillie P. (Gray) Dickerson. She was a homemaker and dearly loved her family and the time spent with them. Thelma enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking and ceramics. She was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Bridgeville. In addition to her parents, Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph A. Stogner in 1995; and a son, Donald Stogner in 1991. She is survived by four sons, Ralph Jr., and Jay Stogner of Atlanta, Ga., Ray and Marjorie Stogner of Buford, Ga., Gary Stogner, also of Atlanta, and Jerry and Debbie Stogner of Greenwood; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Clendaniel of Milton. A funeral service was held in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton. Burial will be in Milford Community Cemetery, Milford. Flowers are accepted or contributions can be made in Thelma's memory to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
