CLAYTON - Thelma Jessica Reed passed away on Jun. 9, 2017.
Mrs. Reed was born Jul. 22, 1966, in Wilmington.
Jessica enjoyed going to the beach where she liked walking and watching the dolphins. She was an outdoor girl and also enjoyed exercising, keeping fit, and staying active.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Reed; and her brother, Raymond Hackendorn, Jr.
She is survived by her son, Wayne Hackendorn; daughter, Rebecca Reed; her parents, Raymond and Doris Hackendorn; her sister, Teresa Williams; and her nephew, Aaron Hackendorn.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, Jun. 15, 2017, at 10 a.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main St. in Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery in Smyrna.
