HARRINGTON - Thelma Jean Whittaker Cross, age 69, formerly of Harrington, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Calvary Wesleyn Church of Harrington. Survivors include daughter, Kimberly Cross; son, Glenn Marshall Cross and wife Kylie; grandson, Christopher Ernest Nelson; brother, Jerry Whittaker and wife Mutt Whittaker; special friend, Lisa Booher; and several nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters-in-law. A funeral service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011, in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Reeves and Rev. Eddie Zimmerman officiating. The burial will follow in Moore Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Following the burial on Saturday, family and friends will meet at Faith Baptist Church for a time of fellowship.
