Thelma J. Jefferson, 72 MILFORD - Thelma J. Jefferson, of Milford, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 15, 2010. She was 72. She worked at Sussex Company in Milford. She was a member of the Milford Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Nora (Webb) Hastings; her husband, George Jefferson in 2006; and a daughter, Kathleen Wyatt. She is survived by her daughters, Rene Jefferson, and Robbin Jefferson; two grandchildren, Jessica Neal and her husband Travis, and Jesse Davis; great-grandchildren, Logan Moore, Kathleen Neal, Adam Tuxward, Caroline Davis, and Mia Davis; three brothers, James Webb and his wife Lucy, Lester Hastings and his wife Billie, and Harvey Hastings and his wife Louise; two sisters, Shirley Mobley and her husband Danny, and Gail Postle and her husband Woody; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services were Thursday, March 18, in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford. Interment was in Milford Community Cemetery, Milford. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963
