HARTLY - Terri Moore, age 50, of Hartly, left this world peacefully at home, on Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her six children, Amy Kovitz and her husband Brandon, Tracey Peters and her husband Matt, Audrey, John, Laura, and Rebecca Moore; her former spouse, Harry Moore of Cheyenne, Wy.; parents, Ike and Virginia Guessford of Odessa; sisters, Sandy Bolyard and her husband Don of Townsend, and Jackie McDermott and her husband Jack of Odessa; and brother, Ralph Guessford of Odessa; many nieces and nephews; and a special aunt, Ruth Guessford of Newport; along with a large extended family. Terri was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church for 10 years. She facilitated a women's bible study in her home, taught children's Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for many years. She home-schooled her own children and assisted many others in the neighborhood. Terri also managed the home-school library. All of her children participated in the Children's Theatre at Wesley College in Dover where Terri designed costumes, was involved with make up and building props, and served as an assistant director. Terri was a devoted mother, friend, and mentor to all who knew her. She spent her entire life giving generously to her community and sharing with all her natural love for children. Friends and family may call from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2010, at Grace Presbyterian Church, 350 McKee Road, Dover, DE 19904. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, a fund has been set up to help care for the Moore children. Contributions may be made to Grace Presbyterian Church (memo "The Moore Children's Fund") at the address above. To sign guest book, visit spicermullikin.com.
