GEORGETOWN — Sussex Technical High School’s Multiplying Good students donated can goods collected during their Hoops for Hunger Game to The Thurman Adams State Service Center, Georgetown, and The Shipley State Service Center, Seaford.
In October, the Multiplying Good organization hosted a Hoops for Hunger event featuring an after-school basketball game between the juniors and seniors. Admission to the event was a canned good, resulting in the collection of severable boxes of non-perishable items. These donations were distributed to the state service centers to support local families in need.
