GEORGETOWN — In November, Sussex Technical High School’s Health Professions Technologies students hosted a blood drive in the high school gym where they collected 71 units of blood.
Prior to the event, the Health Professions Technologies students recruited school students and staff donors. During the event, the students registered donors, provided snacks and monitored donors for adverse reactions.
Sussex Technical High School has been hosting a school blood drive for over 23 years and is planning to host another one in the spring.
