DOVER — A suspect was sought after a bank robbery Tuesday morning, Dover Police said.

According to Dover Police spokesperson Master Cpl. Ryan Schmid, the incident at PNC Bank began at approximately 11:14 a.m. when a suspect entered the bank and wrote a message on a deposit slip demanding money from the teller.

The suspect handed the message to the teller and the teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash, authorities said. The suspect then fled the bank at 3 Loockerman Plaza in a westbound direction on foot, taking the note with him.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned male, approximately 5-foot-10, wearing a white shirt, dark shorts, dark hat, and a cloth surgical mask.

Surveillance footage was not available to provide at the time of this release.
