MILFORD - Susan P. Fritts, 48, of Milford, previously of Sterling, Va., died Sunday, Aug. 1, 2010, in Milford. She was preceded in death by her father, James Canody. Susan worked for Federal Express as a Courier. She loved her children dearly, they were her life. She also liked to clean and collect Snow Babies. She loved dolphins, nature and the outdoors, especially gardening. She is survived by her husband, Anthony Fritts; her mother, Barbara Henry Coskun and her husband Osman of Milford; four children, Jason Canody, Tiffanie Stewart, Chelsie Lane, and Dylan Lane; one granddaughter, Makenzie Stewart; one brother, Ronald Padley and his wife Rosanne; and niece and nephew, Cassandra and Luke Padley. A memorial service was held 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010, at the Berean Community Church, Route 14, Milford-Harrington Highway, Milford. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Delaware Kent County Chapter of the SPCA, 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934. Arrangements handled by Berry-Short Funeral Home, Milford.
