LONG NECK – Susan E. Hammond passed away peacefully on Saturday, Apr. 8, 2017 at Beebe Healthcare.
Susan was a drug and alcohol counselor with Brandywine Counseling and Community Services.
She enjoyed crafting and especially loved cats. She dearly loved her cat Rufus and was devastated at his loss.
Susan is survived by her five children, Robert Foxwell, Scott Foxwell, April Nott, B.J. Hammond and Aaron Hammond; 15 grandchildren; and a host of friends she encountered in the recovery community.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Apr. 19, 2017, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market Street, Georgetown, Del 19947 with visitation after 5 p.m.
