LAUREL - Steven J. Leggs, of Laurel, died Friday, Dec. 17, 2010, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford. He was 52. Steve was born Aug. 8, 1958, in Seaford to Elmer C. Leggs of Greenwood and the late Shirley Jefferson Leggs Fletcher. He really enjoyed his work in the field of heating and air conditioning. Steve loved to go fishing, hunting, and taking his boat out to cruise up and down the Nanticoke River. Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sherry Scanlon; and a brother, Randy. Besides his father he is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth of Seaford; two sisters, Margie Smith of Delmar and Jackie Taylor of Seaford; and a brother, John Fletcher of Sudbury, Mass. Memorial Service will be 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011, at Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 W. Market St., Greenwood.
