Steven passed away at Bayhealth Medical Center, Dover, after a long battle with his blood disorder MYLODYSPLASTIC SYNDROME on August 17,2022.
Steven is survived by his wife Josephine, son Steven Jr. and his siblings: Cherylyn, John and Paul.
He was the son of the late Paul J. Homlish Jr. and Patricia Longanecker Homlish.
Steven is described to be a very hardworking, dependable, and reliable man who took pride of his accomplishments in every aspect of his life. He worked at an apartment complex as a maintenance man and made his way up as a supervisor and was a parts specialist of Ballys Dover Casino Resort. When not working, he loved to be home watching his favorite movies.
Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 22, 2022 at The Church of The Holy Cross, 631 S. State St. Dover, DE 19901. Visitation will be held 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at The Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St. Dover, DE 19901. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
