Stephen M. Weill

Stephen M. Weill, 88

DOVER - Stephen M. Weill, of Dover, died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2008, in Silver Lake Nursing Home. He was 88. Mr. Weill was born March 29, 1920, in New York, N.Y., to the late John Weill and Florence Eaton Weill. He attended Blue Ridge College, in New Winsor, Md., and was drafted into the army where he served four years. After the military he worked in New York City as a resident buyer for 17 years. He also worked in the Real Estate business in Connecticut. Mr. Weill moved to Dover in 1994. He was a member of the Dover Elks Lodge 1903. He was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed skeet shooting, fishing, and turkey hunting. Mr. Weill had the distinction National Rifle Association's oldest living member. Survived by his wife of 60 years, Frances Kosik Weill of Dover; his two daughters, Victoria Boucher of North Wales, Pa., Cynthia Weill of New York, N.Y., and three grandsons, Bryant, Alexander and Nicholas. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008 at the Torbert Funeral Chapel 61 South Bradford St., Dover, DE 19904.
