Stephen J. Zelensky RESTON, VA - Stephen J. Zelensky of Reston, VA formerly of Milton, DE passed away Thursday, April 15, 2010 at Milford Memorial Hospital, Bayhealth Medical Center. He was 58. He was born in Milford, the son of the late Thomas and Margaret (Shemak) Zelensky. He was a member of the first graduating class from Cape Henlopen High School, Lewes. He worked for several years as a Quality Assurance Engineer with Lockheed Martin. He was a member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church; was an avid NASCAR fan as well as an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He coached girls basketball for 10 years in Reston, VA. He loved sailing, traveling, biking and running. He was especially proud of and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his twin brother. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years Debra L. Zelensky in November 2009. He is survived by three daughters, Pam Marcelle, Kristen Shockley and Megan Zelensky all of Milford; his twin brother, Michael Zelensky, of Reston, Va.; two sisters, Karen Jo Miller, of Georgetown and Patricia Dougherty of Wilmington; four grandchildren Hannah and Noah Marcelle and Zoe and Lexi Shockley. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 19, 2010 at St John the Apostle Catholic Church, 506 Seabury Avenue, Milford where friends may call from 10 - 11 a.m. Burial will be in Henlopen Memorial Park, Rt. 1, Milton. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Alzheimers Association, P.O. Box 625, Georgetown, DE 19947. Arrangements by Lofland Funeral Home, Milford.
