MILFORD - Stella Pauline Blessing died Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Harbor Health Care, Lewes. She is the daughter of the late James Cook and Della Lawson Cook. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Berlin, Doug, Donald and Paul, Sherman and Madeline Cook; and her husband, William Blessing, Jr.; also four children, Giles Taylor, Harold Nickols, Shelby Sarver and Joyce Ann Blessing. She is survived by five children, Shirley Garrett, Russell and Barbara Blessing, Bonnie Morton and Bruce Blessing; one sister, Lucille Welch; several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; and three great-great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 24, 2014 in the chapel of Berry Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front Street, Milford, DE where friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a viewing. Interment will be Milford Community Cemetery, Milford, Delaware. In lieu of flowers, donations to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
