DOVER - Stanley F. "Butch" Smulski passed away Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Kent General Hospital. Mr. Smulski was born Oct. 1, 1946 in Wilmington to the late Stanley Smulski and Mary Pucci Smulski. He was an iron worker for local 451 Wilmington for over 30 years. Mr. Smulski was a devoted grandfather and enjoyed spending time with family, spending time in Wildwood, New Jersey and crabbing with his long-time friend Michael Jordan. Mr. Smulski is survived by his wife Patricia Smulski of Dover; daughters Samantha Lucas and her husband Kenny of Magnolia, Laura Elliott and her husband Jason of Tacoma, Wash.; brother, Thomas Smulski and his wife, Tracey of Wildwood, N.J.; sisters, Bobbi Gillan of Cape May, N.J., and Charlotte Worley of Georgetown; grandchildren, Julian and Selena Lucas, of Magnolia, Jordan and Ashton Elliott of Tacoma, Wash.; and numerous nieces and nephew. Funeral services will be held 4 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015 at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover, Del. 19904. Friends may call two hours prior. Interment will be private. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guest book signed at torbertfuneral.com
