Julianne Murray, an attorney and former candidate for statewide office, has been elected as the chair of the Delaware Republican Party. The Seaford resident defeated former chair Jane Brady by a 182-155 delegate vote during the Republican State Convention on April 30. Ms. Brady had served in the role since 2019. Ms. Murray, a gubernatorial candidate in 2020 and attorney general hopeful in 2022, said her pitch was that the party needed more energy and a change in strategy.
