Sophie Destaffany

DOVER Sophie Destaffany of Dover, formerly of Wilmington, passed away July 2, 2011 in Westminster Nursing Home. Sophie was born May 2, 1910, daughter of the late John and Alexandria (Dudzinski) Bronowicz. Retired from the DuPont Company, she enjoyed traveling and going deer hunting with her husband. Sophie was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Destaffany on Feb. 28, 2010. She is survived by her stepchildren, Pat Rogers of Wilmington and Loretta Colaricci of Ohio; and their children and several nieces and nephews. Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 6,2011 in the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may call one hour earlier. Burial will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Westminster Village of Dover, 1175 McKee Road, Dover, DE 19904 Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com
