Ziebutski, 90 DOVER - Sophia Dorothy Ziebutski, died peacefully on Nov. 22, 2012 after a long life of 90 years. She was one of eight children, born to John and Mary Proko in Phila., Pa. and had shared 56 years of marriage with her late husband Edward. Sophie was an employee of Playtex Corporation for 37 years, retiring in 1989 from the House Sales Dept. She spent her leisure time attending activities at the Grange and Modern Maturity Center, crocheting, listening to religious music and surrounding her home with colorful flower gardens, roses being her favorite. She loved cooking and family and friends will always remember the special meals she prepared for them, especially the delicious pastries, cakes and bread. One grandchild remarked that 'Grandmas house was the only place to get a Thanksgiving meal when it was not Thanksgiving'. Sophie is survived by her children, Doris Ann James of Newark, Del, Nancy Carol Hufnal of Wilmington, Del; a special niece, Olga Marie Fitch of Lewes, Del.; along with eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; she is also survived by her sister, Mary Gorniowsky of Panana City Beach, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted at St. John's Lutheran Church, 113 Lotus St. Dover, Del. on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Sharon Hill Cemetery, Dover, Del.
