WILMINGTON - Sonya Byers-Holley was born on Feb. 11th, 1962 to the late Geraldine Hackett. She was a dedicated worker for the city of Wilmington for over 27 years. She is survived by her loving husband William Holley and her son Douglas Byers. Home going services will be held on Friday Oct. 2nd 2015 at Faith City Church 179 Stanton Christiana Road, Newark, Del. at 1:00 p.m. Friends may call one hour prior to service. Special acknowledgement to the City of Wilmington and her best friends April and Kenyatte. Interment at Gracelawn Cemetery, Newcastle, Del. Arrangements are by Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Dover.
