Shirley Velma Sudler Baynard DOVER - Shirley Velma Sudler Baynard was born Jan. 27, 1948, in Dover to the late Norman and Beatrice Sudler. She received Christ and was a member of Greater Life Christian Church. She was a homemaker. She was full of laughter and joy and loved her family and friends. She was a lover of life and a very strong woman with a deep compassion for others. She loved to travel before her sickness. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children, two sisters and one brother. She is survived by her husband Ralph Baynard of 10 years of Dover; two daughters. Minister Darlene Jackson (Johnnie) and Sharon Sudler; four sisters, Evangelist Rosie Ashley (Bishop Ashley), Mabel Cousins, Deretha Ridgeway (Mike), Lorraine Stevens (Barry) two brothers; Arnold Sudler (Pastor Shirley Sudler) and Norman Sudler Jr. She also leaves six grandchildren, Travis Sudler, Keandra Sudler, Temesha Sudler, Tamara Sudler, Little Darlene Jackson, Dazz'aray Hines (Rodney); six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends. Services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 5, at Greater Life Church, 240 Headstart Lane, Camden, where friends may view two hours prior. Burial will be at 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 7, in the Veteran Cemetery, Bear. Condolences may be sent to benniesmithfuneralhome.com.
