DOVER - Shirley R. McCulley, 77, Dover, passed away Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011, at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. She was born on July 24, 1934, in Philadelphia, Pa., to the late Patrick and Mary Bowden Dennis. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. Shirley retired from the Finance Dept. at the DAFB, where she worked as a finance officer for many years. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, and cross stitching. Her favorite time was with her family. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia McCulley Sharrock in 2005. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Chester C. McCulley, Sr. of Dover; three sons, Chester C. McCulley, Jr. of Camden, Mike McCulley of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Rick McCulley of Camden; a daughter, Debra McCulley of Camden; a sister, Ellen Radobich of Magnolia; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces, and nephews. Remembrance Services will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, Aug., 23, 2011, at Trader Funeral Home in Dover, where friends may call one hour prior. Burial will be at the Sharon Hill Memorial Park in Dover.
