Shirley L. Morgan, 74

DOVER -- Shirley L. Morgan of Dover died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008, in her home. She was 74. Mrs. Morgan was born March 30, 1934, in Locust Dale, Pa., to the late Lamar William Schrader and Ollie Minerva Kramer. She was a nurse at Kent General Hospital before becoming a nurse for Star Hill Elementary School. Mrs. Morgan enjoyed quilting and gardening. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Charlotte Wehry. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Lee Morgan of Dover; three daughters, Mary Jane Smith and her husband James of San Diego, Laura Strasser and her husband Aaron of Greensboro, Md., and Julie Morgan of Dover; and three grandchildren with a fourth on the way, Michael, Jacqueline and Susan Roth. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE 19720. Friends may call one hour prior.
