DOVER - Shirley Ann Webb, of Dover, died Friday, April 15, 2011 in the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford . She was 76. Mrs. Webb was born on Sept. 17, 1934, in Belair, Md., to the late Charles Thomas and Hazel Hash Walker. She was a homemaker and wife of a U.S. Air Force veteran, whose last assignment brought them to Dover in 1969. She liked crossword and jigsaw puzzles and loved her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Webb was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander Porter Webb Jr. in 1976; two sons, William Dean Webb and Doug Edward Webb. She is survived by a son, Charles Porter Webb and his wife Karma of Walla Walla, Washington; her daughter, Sherry Megginson and her husband Ted of Clayton, Del.; a daughter-in-law, Teresa Webb also of Dover. ten grandchildren, Chad Dann, Jennifer Dann, Cary Knight, Carl Webb, Danielle Tracy, Amanda Webb, Amber Webb, Alexander Webb, Mellissa Webb, Colton Webb; nine great- grandchildren, Christina, Nicolas, Alexus, Eljah, Dwayne Jr., Noah, Luke, Blake, and Aydria. In lieu of flowers the family would like memorial donations to be made to the Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963. Services will be private.
