BRIDGEVILLE - Sherman R. Beauchamp, age 82, of Bridgeville, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at Genesis Healthcare, Seaford. He was born Nov. 28, 1928, in Federalsburg, Md., son of the late Arthur Lyden and Florence (Jeavons) Beauchamp. Mr. Beauchamp was a consummate worker, always busy building homes, garages and whatever else needed to be done. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth (Lare) Beauchamp (2010). He is survived by his daughter, Carol A. (Beauchamp) Miller of Bridgeville; his son, Richard Allen Beauchamp of Bridgeville; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Pauline Mitchell and Betty Mowbray, both of Federalsburg, Md. Funeral Services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, March 19, 2011, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws Street, Bridgeville.
