DOVER - Sharon Melissa Tolson, of Dover, departed this life of Friday, March 28, 2008, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 46.
She was born March 15, 1962, to Ella Mae Tolson and the late George Watson.
Sharon attended school at Star Hill Elementary, Central Middle and Dover High School.
She was preceded in death by her common-law husband, Richard Tribbett; an aunt, Mary Tolson; and granddaughter, Jayda M. Tolson.
Sharon was a loving mother and leaves to mourn her passing, her mother, Ella Mae Tolson; four sons, Todd Tolson and his friend Rachel, Little Rick Tolson, Fred Tolson, and Tyrone Tolson, all of Dover; three daughters, Tawanda Tolson, Lakisha Tolson, and Keena Tolson, all of Dover; four brothers, William "Donnie" Tolson of Albany, N.Y., Claude Tolson, Jeff Tolson, and Andre' "Dokey" Fisher, all of Dover; one sister-in-law, Charlene Tolson of Dover; 18 grandchildren; one great-grandson; three aunts, Amelia Fisher of Dover, Vivian Ewart of Bronx, N.Y., and Bernice Tolson of Waterbury, Conn.; one uncle, Luther Tolson of New York; a host of cousins and friends; special friends, Freda Brinkley, LaFrance "Butter" Trott, Lorraine Durham, and Glendon Durham; and a special cousin, Barbara Tolson.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Dover, where friends may view two hours prior.
