Sharon Marie Ross GEORGETOWN - Sharon Marie Ross died on May 13, 2010 at the Stockley Center after a long and courageous battle. She was born on July 28, 1946 in Dover, Del. to the late Victor T. and Minnie B. Ross of near Wyoming, Del. Sharon resided at the Stockley Center for the past 54 years and was known for her gentle spirit and sweet smile. She enjoyed music and her fellow residents. She is survived by seven sisters, three brothers and their families, Dorothy Myers of Titusville, Pa., Kathleen Stutzman of Meadville, Pa., Jean Sandish of Oregon, Ohio, Joyce Conner of Kernersville, N.C., Rose Ann Landers, of Georgetown, Texas, Nancy Ross of Newark, Del., Sandra Stump of Wyoming, Del., John Ross of Macon, Ga., Victor Ross of Wyoming, Del., and Charles Ross of Kingston, Nova Scotia. In addition, Sharon is survived by an extended family at the Stockley Center who loved and cared for her for many years. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Camden, Del. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com
