Sharay Lynn Showell, 22

GEORGETOWN - Sharay Lynn Showell, of Georgetown, died Tuesday, May 20, 2008, in Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. She was 22.

Born in Milford, she was the daughter of Steven L. Showell and Stephanie Suggs Showell, both of Georgetown.

Sharay was a member of Calvary Pentecostal Church where she served on the youth choir.

She attended Wesley College and University of Delaware in Dover where she sang with the University of Delaware Gospel Choir.

In addition to her parents, loving memories will remain with six brothers, Carlton Suggs of Selbyville, Steven M. Showell, Cordae Showell, Ryan Showell, and Timothy Showell, all of Georgetown, and Darion Showell of St. Louis; two sisters, Shannon Showell and Shamir Showell, both of Georgetown; paternal grandparents, Brice and Margaret Showell of Showell, Md.; maternal grandparents, Wilbert and Mattie Suggs of Bridgeville; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Friends may call from 5-6 p.m. Saturday in Lewis N. Watson Funeral Home, 1618 West Road, Salisbury, Md.

A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Calvary Pentecostal Church, Bishopville, where friends may call one hour prior to service.

Interment will follow in church cemetery.

Bishop Harold E. Hazzard Sr. will officiate.
