DENTON, Md. - Seneca D. Eldredge IV, of Denton, better known as "Nick," died Saturday, July 11, 2009, while working in Upper Marlboro. He was 36. Born in Bad Kreuznach, Germany, on April 10, 1973, Nick was the son of Seneca D. Eldredge III and the late Lynne Ellen Ardale Eldredge. He had lived in Denton since the mid 1980's and had graduated from North Caroline High School in 1992 as class president. He was widely known throughout the community for his devotion to family and friends and for his strong work ethic. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Nick is survived by his long time companion, Kelly Lister of Denton; two sons, Seneca D. Eldredge V and Zachary M. Eldredge and their mother Patricia D'Orlando, all of Denton; his father, Seneca D. Eldredge III and companion; four sisters, Jennifer Jones, Jerusha Mitchell, Amanda Eldredge, and Cady Eldredge, along with their spouses and companions; and one brother, Scott White and his companion; maternal aunt, Sue Akstulewicz and spouse; great aunt, Violet Allen; paternal aunt and uncles: Winnie Boyle, Peter Eldredge, Bob Eldredge and their spouses; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews; as well as an astonishing number of intimate friends. Nick's loved ones would like to welcome all to a viewing to be held at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 S. Second Street, Denton, from 2 until 4 p.m. and from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday, July 17, as well as a service on Saturday, July 18 at 11 a.m. Immediately following, a celebration of his life will be held at Nick and Kelly's home where a Japanese Maple will be planted in his honor. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Eldredge College Fund for Seneca and Zachary's future education, C/O Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 S. Second St., Denton, MD 21629.
