DAGSBORO - Seatta F. Murray, age 88, of Dagsboro, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Jan. 3, 2011. Seatta was born in Sutton, Neb., on Sept. 8, 1922, to Frederick and Anna Marie (Zimbleman) Brandner, the 12th of 13 children; she was the last survivor of those children. Seatta was a member of the Selbyville Assembly of God Church in Selbyville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earis in 1988; son, George Murray in 1966; daughter, Eva Lee Bunting in 2007; and 12 siblings, sister, Ruth McGee, brothers, Maurice and Harvey Brandner of Delaware along with 4 brothers and 5 sisters of Nebraska and Colorado. She is survived by her children, Hayward Murray and his wife Sheryl of Dagsboro, Stephen Murray and his wife Mary Elizabeth of Bethany Beach, Pastor Frank Murray of Millsboro, Fred Murray of Dagsboro, Janice Collins and her husband Donald of Clarksville, Linda White and her husband Ray of Clarksville; son-in-law, Dean Bunting of Frankford; a special sister-in-law, Madge Crist of Dagsboro; seven grandsons; 11 granddaughters; 19 great-grandsons; 10 great-granddaughters; and two great-great-granddaughters. A funeral service will be held Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, at 9:30 a.m. at the Chapel of Melson Funeral Services on 43 Thatcher Street in Frankford, where friends may call on Thursday afternoon from 4 to 6 p.m. Burial will be in St. George's Cemetery in Clarksville. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions in Seatta's memory to, Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE. 19963 of Selbyville Assembly of God Church, 36360 Pepper Rd, Selbyville, DE. 19975.
