SBA Delaware seeks small business awards nominations

WILMINGTON - The U.S. Small Business Administration Delaware District Office recently announced that it is seeking nominations for its 2022 National and Delaware District Small Business Week Awards, including the annual Small Business Person of the Year award.

The SBA Awards are given in celebration of National and District Small Business Week and include:

Delaware District Small Business Week Categories:

  • Small Business Person of the Year (National and District)
  • Small Business Exporter (National and District)
  • Woman-Owned Business of the Year
  • Minority-Owned Business of the Year
  • Veteran-Owned Business of the Year
  • Young Entrepreneur of the Year

“SBA’s small business awards is a national awards program,” said John Fleming, SBA Delaware Director. “Both the local and national recognition of award winners through this awards program celebrates the millions of small businesses in America that employ more than half the country’s private work force and generate so many American innovations.”

All nominations must be received by the Delaware District office by electronic submission only to the District’s BOX account, no later 3 p.m. on Jan. 11.
