Saviust William 'Save' Robinson, 41
DOVER - Saviust William "Save" Robinson, of Dover, departed this life on Friday, May 23, 2008, at home. He was 41.
Saviust was born Dec. 27, 1966, to Guy W. Robinson Sr. of Dover and Deborah L. Robinson of Raleigh, N.C., and his stepmother, Shirley E. Robinson of Dover.
He was a member of First Pilgrim Baptist Church, Camden.
Saviust received his education in Capitol School District.
He loved to play cards and play the drums.
He was a NASCAR racing fan; his favorite driver was Mark Martin.
Saviust never met a stranger. He was kind to anyone he came in contact with. He would tell people, "Just call me Save-A-Lot because I save lives."
He worked various jobs. His last employment was with Burger King in Dover.
He will be missed by everyone he knew and loved.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Marnita Wilson.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, De'Anthony Tyresé Johns of Dover; four brothers, Guy W. Robinson Jr. of Raleigh, Nakia Brown of Dover, Tyrelle Brummell of Wilmington and Guy W. Brummell of Smyrna; and four sisters, Clareesa Robinson and Cynthia Reddix (Mike), all of Dover, Anita Anderson (Tom) of Harbeson and Debbie Martinez of North Carolina. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and numerous friends.
A viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bennie Smith Funeral Home in Dover.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at First Pilgrim Baptist Church, Camden, where friends may view two hours prior.
